Though starting an online business is one of the least expensive and the easiest way to generate extra money at home, there are other ways to earn some extra money on top of your monthly income. Also, the money you save is the money you earn. If you can save $100 a month, it is an extra income. Here is a great Yahoo article on how to make extra money at home. The article discusses 11 ways to generate little extra money. Here is another article on 11 Great Ways to Earn More Money. I have taken some of the best advices from these two articles and put a little of my own experience into it to create this list of 9 ways to make extra money at home. 1. Sell your stuff online. You can use eBay or classified sites to sell your unwanted stuff. 2. Be a mystery shopper. I really did not believe in this one. But apparently there are mystery shoppers who are making upto $20 per feedback. And there is a Mystery Shopping Providers Association. VIsit their site at www.mysteryshop.org. If you have to pay to join a prgram, my advise is to avoid it. 3. Operate a call center from home. You can provide customer support for big names like Office Depot, Sears, etc. Visit Arise Virtual Solutions, West Corp, or Alpine Access 4. Tutor Students. I think this is one of the best way to make an extra income. If you can specialize in SAT/ACT teaching, you can make some big money. 5. Walk the dogs. As did Holly (Nicole Sullivan), the dog walker, in The King of Queens. 6. Make extra money by babysitting 7. Start a blog and review others blogs and websites. Sign up with blog review service like SponsoredReviews or ReviewMe 8. Ask for a raise in your current job. Though it will be tough in this economy, but if you can prove that you have improved the bottom line of the company, there is no reason not to ask for one. 9. If you are financially disciplined and can use credit cards wisely, read this article about the Benefits of Using Credit Cards for all Your Purchases.
